The Emergence Of The Everyday Leader

This article was originally posted by my friend and sister, Thuli Mtegha. It moved me for a number of reasons and one in particular is the work I do with young people in our country.

I submitted in an earlier article that leaders never outsource their responsibility. Equally so, the youth in South Africa have the power to make a difference on a larger scale only if they assume leadership day in and day out.

Gone are the days of looking up to the government to do things that we can on our own.

Gone are the days of looking up to men and women of the cloth to pray for things that God has blessed us with.

Gone are the days of sitting at a corner and feeling  shame, stand up and be counted:
